Changes to ACAT fees

ACT Civil & Administrative Tribunal (ACAT) fee increase – effective 1 July 2018

ACAT fees will increase from 1 July 2018. Fees will increase by around 4% and the way some fees are determined will be adjusted as follows:

Civil Disputes

The monetary amounts used to determine the payable fee will change for civil disputes:

The changes ensure application fees for smaller disputes remain affordable, align the fees charged by ACAT’s civil & residential disputes sections, and better reflect the nature of dispute.
